January Winter Blues

How do you beat the January Winter Blues?? Well you could attend a Pine Wood Derby. Aaron placed 2nd in his Den. You would have thought he won 1st! He was thrilled that it wasn't third. I am proud of him, he built his car by himself (except for wood cutting) but most of all he was a great sport and cheered all the other Scouts on as their cars crossed the finish line.
Or you can be like Brinlie and Darylyn and put your brothers underwear and socks on your head, hands and other places and then run around dancing to music! (The underwear was clean)
Maybe in better taste you can go play in the snow with a friend. Here are Samantha and Darylyn making creations in the snow while everyone else was sledding.

Dad, Aaron, and Emma are getting ready to take another turn down the hill. We went up to Pine Valley with our awesome friends the Jones'.
The best way to beat the January Winter Blues is to be with friends. Tann and Angela and baby Landon here are eating our after sledding treat, Skookies! Another way is to play a fun card game. (We will not mention who won as it is not really important)

Thank you Tann and Ang for the visit and helping us break the
January Winter Blues!
