A Pinkalicious Day!

After we had Fischer my sister Katie and her hubby and kids came and helped me recover. She would think she didn't do much, but she will never know just how much she did do for me. One of the things was to give Emma lots of attention. We happened to have a book, "Pinkalicious," from the library. Katie read that book at least 20 times to Emma and Jayden. She had the book memorized. One day she told Emma they were going to have a Pinkalicious Day. It began with a pink blouse and pants, cute hair with pink hair accessories, and then a trip to Walmart with Katie where Katie bought her pink gloves and a pink fairy wand! What a pinkawonderful day. But the best was yet to come. In the book the mommy makes pinkalicious cupcakes to help remedy a rainy day. Katie, Jayden, and Emma came home and made very strawberry yummy pinkalicious cupcakes.

Emma felt like a very special girl. For nap time she had to wear her gloves and hold her fairy wand. And when she awoke from her slumber a cupcake was needed. What a lucky girl to have such a kind aunt. Thank you Aunt Katie!
